At McLean Care® we truly appreciate each person as an individual, and are deeply committed to providing services that are unique to you, and a home that harmonises with the way you would like to live your life.
You may be quite independent and self-sufficient with most of your daily living activities, but are looking for that extra feeling of security, and the occasional helping hand, that comes from living as part of the McLean care® family. Perhaps you feel that you need quite a bit of assistance with your day-to-days… whatever level of care and support you feel you need, we can help with that.
Our person-centred approach to living begins with your needs, hopes, dreams and aspirations. From there anything is possible. You make the choices about your day-to-day living, service options, and the level of assistance you would like from us; after all, it is your life – we’re just here to lend a helping hand to make things a bit easier – you’ve earned it.
Helping you to maintain your independence is important to us, and at the centre of everything that we do.The partnership that we develop with you and for you puts you at the centre of your own care, ensuring that you are directly involved in the decisions that are made about that care, and that you enjoy opportunities and a life of your choosing; to do that, we would like to get to know you, so that we can support you in the way that you want.
We are always looking for ways to enhance the services we provide for our residents. We believe the environment of care and support needs to be continually developed to provide the opportunities, services and infrastructure to support individual resident needs.
CONTINUUM OF CARE
As your needs change, we will change with you, supporting you by adapting the care, services and home environment that best suit the current chapter of your life.
There may come a time when together, you, your family, and we, your extended McLean Care® family, jointly decide that it’s time to transition you to a different part of our residential facility, where your needs can better be met.
Maintaining your safety and security is so important to us. Other care areas or other rooms may
more suitably, and ultimately safely, meet you care needs. Sometimes it may be necessary for us all
to consult with your Doctor, to provide you with the right information about your current and future
At McLean Care®, we are always looking for ways to enhance the services and facilities that we can offer you, so at times it may be necessary to relocate you because of repairs or improvements that need to be carried out. If this is the case, and your bed or room still exists as a bed or room after those improvements have been made, you can then move back in if the facility still meets your needs.

"Several years ago we decided to sell our farm, retire and move closer to town and family. A long period of looking and evaluation followed. Fortunately a friend recommended the Goodwood Villas in Inverell. We were very impressed for a number of reasons; the quietness, security space and the outlook. The other big advantage is that we did not have to pay stamp duty and if we were unhappy we could move on and not have to pay agents fees to sell. The McLean organisation refunds the purchase price less a small fee. We, from the very first day have been settled here, any care or maintenance problems have always been taken care of by a very obliging staff."
